Continued from the hearing that opened September 14.
Where: Killingly Town Hall, 172 Main Street, Danielson — usually the Town Meeting Room on the second floor.
Watching from home: Hearings are live-streamed on the Town of Killingly government Facebook page.
Writing: Written testimony can be submitted to the town online, and is due by 2:00 p.m. on the day of that commission's meeting.

Speaking at a hearing
A public hearing sets aside time for residents to speak directly to the commission. Speaking time per person is usually limited, and the commission’s own rules decide how it runs — the town can tell you the current limit and whether you need to sign in.
You do not need to be an expert. Saying who you are, where you live, and what you expect this to do to your street carries real weight in the record.
Writing instead of speaking
Written testimony counts, and it goes in the record the same way. Include:
- Your name.
- Your street or neighborhood in Killingly.
- Whether you support or oppose the application.
- The one specific thing you’re worried about or hoping for — truck traffic, wells and drinking water, noise and light, emergency response, jobs, taxes.
Short and specific beats long. One clear paragraph about your own road is more useful than pages of general argument. Send it in time for the 2:00 p.m. deadline on the day of the meeting.
