Some bakers run a storefront you can walk into; others bake at home and sell through farmers markets, porch pickup or special order. This guide collects both kinds in one place so you know where to look. Nobody pays to appear here, and anything we haven't confirmed yet is marked plainly.
Storefront bakeries
These are licensed retail bakeries with a public shop front. Hours and availability change, so a quick call or message before you drive is worth the minute.

Home-based bakers
Connecticut cottage food laws allow certain home-prepared foods to be sold directly to consumers, often at markets or by pre-arranged pickup. These bakers may not have a storefront, so ordering ahead is usually required.

We list the bakery, what it typically makes, and how to buy. If a detail is unconfirmed, we say so plainly. If you know of a bakery we should add — or if one of these entries needs correcting — tell us and we'll update it.

Hours, seasonal availability and exact product mixes change often, so we list what each bakery publicly advertises and mark the rest as unconfirmed. If you're driving for something specific, call or message ahead. If something here is wrong, please tell us — that correction helps everyone reading next week.
