Woodstock’s new marriage-license wait begins October 1
Woodstock’s Town Clerk says applicants must now wait at least 48 hours after both people complete, sign, date, and swear to an in-person application before a marriage license can issue. Online worksheets do not count, and applicants will need two Clerk’s Office visits. The Town describes this as a resident service change, not a Town ordinance.
