The Danielson Fire Department has resumed all medical calls and can staff one engine for fire calls when enough usable gear is available. The Borough Council unanimously advanced a $64,000 plan for 15 full protective-gear sets and four rental sets, while mutual-aid departments remain part of coverage. The appropriation still requires a public hearing and vote on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, so the equipment purchase is not yet final.
