Woodstock changes trash haulers and flags an invasive insect

Woodstock's Board of Selectmen unanimously approved changing the municipal trash hauler from Casella to CWPM. The posted minutes describe a proposed five-year contract with 3% annual increases and estimated savings of about $30,000, but the minutes were still marked unapproved. In a separate notice, the Town reported spotted lanternflies in Woodstock and directed residents to Connecticut DEEP for identification and reporting guidance.
