Community update

Putnam closes a major week of veterans remembrance

The Wall That Heals, a traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica, stood at Murphy Park through ceremonies that ended Sunday, September 13. About 1,000 students visited and local fundraising passed $80,000, with remaining funds intended for area veterans.
