Town parks are open sunrise to sunset. Davis Park is the green in the middle of Danielson, with a gazebo used for events through the year and lights up for the holidays.

- Hygeia Reservoir — Valley Road, Dayville: seasonal swimming, typically from the last week of June to Labor Day weekend, swim at your own risk.
- Mitchell D. Phaiah Dog Park — at the River Trail and Quinebaug Drive, fenced for large and small dogs.
